Design standards

Standards applied to every design

Designs follow the standards that apply to each piece of equipment: DNV, AISC, AWS and ASTM. Reel fabrication follows ASME and AWS.

Tests are witnessed by the Carbogás technical team, the customer and a certification body.

Quality control starts before testing: raw material is traced from hard stamping, which confirms it matches the specified material, and welds undergo magnetic particle testing, which reveals surface cracks and discontinuities.
